60W RF precision
Create fine text, photographs and detailed artwork with fast response and accurate power control.
AEON Redline · Maximum dual-source power
High-resolution RF engraving and high-output Glass DC cutting in one large-format platform. Built to turn thick materials into finished work—fast.
Thick and fast
The 260W Glass DC source gives the NOVA Super16 the output needed for faster profile cutting and serious material thickness. It is designed for clean cuts through acrylic up to 20 mm, while also bringing more speed to everyday cutting in thinner stock.
Use the extra output for thicker material, faster feed rates or fewer passes.
A 1600 × 1000 mm bed handles oversized work and efficient batch layouts.
High-power optics and controlled cooling support a stable beam through demanding jobs.
Dual-source workflow
The 60W metal RF source and 260W Glass DC source each do the work they are best at. The system moves between them automatically within the job, keeping the material in place and the workflow uninterrupted.
Create fine text, photographs and detailed artwork with fast response and accurate power control.
The machine changes to the Glass DC source when the file reaches its cutting paths.
Finish the work with the cutting speed and depth available from the high-power source.
Engineered for the heat
A 260W beam creates substantially more heat than a standard Redline source. This configuration moves cooling outside the chassis and upgrades the optical system so the machine can handle that energy reliably.
Dedicated external water cooling manages the thermal load of the 260W Glass DC tube.
A longer focal length is standard for deep, high-power cutting, with 2-inch and 2.5-inch options available.
Four 30 mm mirrors, a dedicated beam combiner and a protective mirror are specified for the high-output configuration.
Full Redline capability
Closed-loop motion reaches up to 8G acceleration and 4200 mm/s with the RF source.
A strong chassis and rigid linear rails maintain precision under fast, demanding movement.
Enclosed rails, bearing blocks and optical paths resist smoke, dust and production debris.
Quick connectors, accessible mirrors and a magnetic lens carriage simplify routine service.
Operating status, faults, water flow and temperature are monitored for safer production.
Position jobs accurately, focus quickly and process longer materials through the chassis.
With more power comes more responsibility
High-output cutting demands the correct chiller, optical setup, extraction, air assist, focus and material testing. The NOVA Super16 260W configuration is engineered around that responsibility, with water-flow protection, temperature alarms, a protective optical path and Class 1 enclosure.
Use the specified external chiller and maintain the cooling circuit correctly.
Match extraction and filtration to the material, thickness and production volume.
Confirm power, speed, focus and air settings on representative material before a full job.

Questions answered
The RF source delivers the fast response and precise power control needed for detailed engraving. The Glass DC source provides considerably more cutting power at a cost that remains practical. Together they cover both premium engraving and thick-material cutting.
The 260W source is designed to produce clean cuts through suitable 20 mm acrylic. Results depend on material formulation, focus, optics, air assist, extraction, speed and machine condition, so production settings should always be tested.
The 260W Glass DC tube creates a larger thermal load than standard configurations. The external S&A 5300 provides the dedicated cooling capacity and service access required for the high-power source.
This configuration uses a standard 4-inch cutting lens, four 30 mm mirrors, a beam combiner and a protective mirror. The larger, specialised optical path is selected to handle the 260W beam and support deep cutting.
Yes. It retains the Redline unibody platform, full AC servos, CleanPack protection, autofocus, camera capability, intelligent diagnostics, status lighting, pass-through access and modular service design.
