What is the difference between the standard LightBurn camera and Vision Pro?
They are designed for different parts of the workflow.
Standard LightBurn camera: provides an overhead view of the laser bed inside LightBurn. It is ideal for positioning artwork on materials or offcuts, tracing shapes from the camera image and monitoring the work area.
AEON Vision Pro: is a specialist registration-mark camera for printed materials. It detects the marks printed with the artwork and aligns the contour-cutting path to the real printed position, helping produce cleaner and more repeatable print-and-cut products.
LightBurn also includes a Print & Cut feature that can align output to target positions, but its normal workflow requires the operator to align the laser to those targets. Vision Pro is intended to make production print-and-cut work faster and less dependent on manual positioning.
